Web World Introduction
My friend once had said that website is a great invention after the era of wire telephone is nearly over, and i think i’m agree with him. Website is a simple technology that do not require complex hardware infrastructure, but the existence really change the face of the world and change the people too.
Over billion people sharing his thoughts using website, make the world more flat. Now when i sit in my desk in Bandung Indonesia, i can know what’s happening in zimbabwe, or georgia and thats is very-very great!! thing. When the number of web become excessive, google came with his search engine, and that i think that is the second of signficancies in the web world.
When first i learn about the web programming six years ago, off course start with HTML material, i was used frontpage from MS. I’m created a first single page used a WYSWYG editor, after finish and feel statisfied, i was looking the HTML code and give up to understanding what the meaning of tag-tag in the code 😦 And feel depresed when i try to modify the code. Now i can really smile when remember that time, off course six years will bring many alteration in my knowledge. But even after i’m learn web programming in six years i still feel being beginner in this web world. Sure the web world is an ocean that the deep can’t be calculated. Other thing that made me interest in web, because web is not only an ‘technical’ side but also haven an artistic side, when develop a web site i really use the both of my left and right brain. That’s is also a great thing!!
Web is not only a dull newspaper who only concern about delivering the information, but a web is like magazine who uses colors to create ‘information with artistic taste’. But in otherside, because of misuse of this technology many people who not responsible writing wrong information and mislead many people. In global world the effect of mislead information is very massive. Slander, calumny, black campaign and wicked propaganda is very-very evil acts when someone with intentionally write something that is blotting out the truth for personal advantage.
